This week the children in Year 2 have been busy doing challenges.

Year 2 children have enjoyed our digital week, we have had visitors come in for activities and used the chromebooks and ipads to do classroom challenges.
We have had a busy week in year 2, we went to visit the library and Ffwrnes Theatre, took part in the school Eisteddfod on St David's day and celebrated World Book Day.
Year 2 have enjoyed doing challenges this week and practising Welsh dancing for the Eisteddfod. We hope you all have a lovely half term holiday.
In year 2 this week we have been busy doing science experiments.
Here are some of the activities we have started doing in class for science week. We enjoyed making wind turbines and finding out about materials.

Year 2 have had a busy week with their final cricket lesson and celebrating shwmae day and harvest time.

We've had a busy 2 weeks settling in.
We had a day at Pembrey Country Park. We went to the beach, had an ice-cream, had a picnic and went to the park. Wow what a day!

Another busy week in year 2, we had a great time at the jubilee party, we had a visit from 2 Bee Enterprises and we learnt how to tell the time. Well done to the certificate holders.
Year 2 went on a visit to town and the library, then we painted all the shops and buildings we saw. Well done to our certificate holders.
We have been doing 1/2 and 1/4 sorting and making houses, this week in year 2. Well done to our certificate holders.
Year 2 has been very busy this week, we had a visit from Alex about Kerbcraft, we went for a walk around the school on a shape hunt, we also went to Bethania and had a great time.

We had a visit from a Firefighter in year 2, we also made things for Easter and had an Easter egg hunt.
We have been doing a science project this week, in year 2, building a straw rocket, seeing how far they will go and recording our results. Well done our certificate holders.
In year 2 this week, we made lovely things for Mothers day, we did Odds and Evens and climbed UP for P.E. Well done to our certificate holders.

We have done a lot this week in year 2, St. David's Day, World book day and Scooter training, Phew! Well done to the certificate holders.
It's 5.4.3.2.1 blast off in year 2, working hard on our theme of space. Well done to the certificate holders.
We celebrated Chinese New Year by making lanterns. We have also been counting in tens using money. Well done the certificate holders.
Year 2 will be ready if the snow arrives, they are making snow flakes, igloos and salt dough snow-people. Well done to the certificate winners.
A New Year in Blwyddyn 2. It's a bit 'chilly' in class as the children are working on, winter trees, snow flakes and snow people. Well done to all the children with the certificates.
