Friday 2nd July will be our World Book Day. Please encourage your child to dress up as their favourite book character. Throughout the day we will be listening to stories , performing and creating stories. As we were unable to do this earlier in the year we are very excited about this and will publish lots of photographs in the newsletter.
Just for clarity, we have been instructed by the local authority as well as by Welsh Government not to allow parents in the school building or for mass gatherings on the school site for any reason. This means no Sports Day or any other communal activity. We have managed to work on a leavers concert for our Y6 which will be done virtually and be available for everyone to see but not live and in school.
A reminder please that you must wear a mask when you drop off and collect your child, unless you are exempt. Please do this to ensure that you are not putting staff or other parents in danger.
This is due to the new strain of the virus and the slow rise in cases again. We will endeavour to keep you informed of the activities we are trying to do , to give the pupils what they deserve despite COVID: a memorable school experience.
Thank you for your understanding
