Top Online Welsh Resources for Children

  • S4C Cyw: Ideal for young children, offering games, songs, and stories featuring popular characters.
  • Hwb (Gov.wales): Offers Gemau Geiriau (word games), Anagramau, and Brawddegau (sentences) for ages 8-14.
  • Learn Welsh: A free site featuring 14 different games, including vocabulary, spelling, and listening exercises.
  • Twinkl: Extensive printable and interactive resources, such as themed word searches, alphabet jigsaws, and colouring pages.
  • BBC Bitesize: Covers Welsh second language for foundation and KS2 stages.
