  • Necklaces and Chains

    Thu 22 May 2025

    A polite reminder

Please do not send your child into school with thick necklaces or chains. If your child is wearing one we will remove the chain and place it in the secure safe in the office. This is for their protection and for health and safety purposes. We ask that parents then collect the chain please as we will not return it loose to the child. We take no responsibility of loss or damage for these chains if they are sent into school.

  • Hot Weather

    Fri 02 May 2025
    Hot weather
    Dear parents
Hopefully, that is not the end of the hot weather spell. However , we hope to have more nice weather in coming weeks. A reminder that pupils need to come to school with a sun hat , sun glasses and have sun cream put on in the morning at home for younger pupils. If the pupil is older and able to put the cream on themselves they may bring it into school.
Please ensure your child is wearing suitable footwear and not slip on shoes or sandals that are not fastened securely. Absolutely no crocks, these are fashionable but dangerous footwear for playing on playgrounds and PE.
We also ask that your child has a water bottle to enable them to keep refilling throughout the day. Tap water here does run colder when it is left to run as it would be at home.
    Many thanks
  • Animals and Music

    Fri 02 May 2025

The pupils have had an amazing week despite the incredibly hot weather. They have been working with the live animals , lots of endangered species, furry and scaly. Yesterday we had a visit from the Samba drums company where we moved along our theme of expressive arts from dance in the spring term to music now. Photographs will be in the class photograph section of the website and on twitter for you to see , early next week.

    Many thanks
