  • Parents' Spelling and Grammar Course Wednesday 25th April- all welcome

    9am-11am . This will continue every Wednesday for 6-8 weeks with the exception of the 30th May which is half term week. 

    Following this course we would like to set up a Maths course for a similar time period and a basic ICT course. Dates to follow.

    Please come along these courses will really help you with the knowledge to help your child.

  • Parents' Evenings 23rd and 24th April 3.30pm -5.30pm

    Based on Feedback from the last set of Parents' meetings we are using a pre-booked system to allocate times. Your child will be given a letter with your allocated time on. We will due our best with timings as a result of knowing your circumstances e.g if you are working, have other children in different classes throughout the school. However if you cannot make the appointment given to you , please come in and arrange a different time and date with the class teacher. Please understand that it is only possible to re-arrange appointments in exceptional circumstances e.g unable to re-arrange shifts at work.  If you would like to see Mrs Evans or Mrs Powell you can drop in between 3.30pm and 5.00pm on Monday 23rd only. They will not be available both evenings. If you would like to speak with either of them at an alternative time then please speak to them directly and they will arrange this with you.
  • Easter Disco 5-7pm

  • Parents meeting with the inspectors.

    Please come to school and meet the inspectors. The meeting will start at 3.30pm and a creche facility will be provided.

  • Safety of Pupils

    The safety of our pupils is our main priority and we are incredibly concerned about parents parking directly outside of the school gates. We have asked the police to make regular patrols of the area during arrival and leaving times so that pupils and parents walking home are safe to cross the road. Please do not park on the zigzags outside the school gate. We are meeting with the local council next week to look at this issue on a larger scale.
  • Parents of Y6 Pupils Update

    Following the cancellation from Pendine, we have located 2 possible locations for Y6 to attend a residential in the summer term this year. At the moment we are currently negotiating costs as they are far too expensive on their first offer.  We will keep you informed if the amount is more reasonable and you can tell us what you think.
  • World Book Day at Maes Y Morfa will be Friday 9th March

    Please follow this link to the website to find out which stores are accepting them.
    Pupils are welcome to dress up as their favourite book character on 9th March and we will be sharing poems and stories through a number of activities inside and outside the classroom.

  • Valentine's Disco

    Valentine’s Disco Wednesday 14th February in school hall

    • Foundation phase =   3pm- 4pm  (£2 to be given to class teacher in the morning which will include crisps and a drink.)
    • Key stage 2 =    4.15-5.30pm (£1.50 to be paid on entry and there will refreshments on sale.)
    • All parents must sign their child’s name when they arrive in the morning for foundation phase or sign in on arrival for KS2. This is to ensure we have a list of all pupils who are in school out of their usual time, to ensure their safety.
    • All pupils must be collected at the end of the KS2 disco please.
