Keep up to date with all the news happening in school at the moment.
Friday 2nd July will be our World Book Day. Please encourage your child to dress up as their favourite book character. Throughout the day we will be listening to stories , performing and creating stories. As we were unable to do this earlier in the year we are very excited about this and will publish lots of photographs in the newsletter.
Just for clarity, we have been instructed by the local authority as well as by Welsh Government not to allow parents in the school building or for mass gatherings on the school site for any reason. This means no Sports Day or any other communal activity. We have managed to work on a leavers concert for our Y6 which will be done virtually and be available for everyone to see but not live and in school.
A reminder please that you must wear a mask when you drop off and collect your child, unless you are exempt. Please do this to ensure that you are not putting staff or other parents in danger.
This is due to the new strain of the virus and the slow rise in cases again. We will endeavour to keep you informed of the activities we are trying to do , to give the pupils what they deserve despite COVID: a memorable school experience.
Thank you for your understanding

The Actif Communities Team have organised a FREE FUN INCLUSIVE activity session over half term on Tuesday 1 June at the Bwlch MUGA, Llanelli – an opportunity for the whole family to take part and be active!!
Activities will be suitable for all ages and abilities and will be a great opportunity to socialise and get active whilst having fun!
We would be very grateful if you could kindly circulate the attached information among your pupil and parent networks.
Further information about the activities and bookings can be found HERE.
End of year reports
We will be providing you with school reports, they will be a shorter version but the children deserve them. They will report on key subject areas and wellbeing. These will be given out during the last week of term. If you have any questions please contact us via the school office.
Just a reminder that Friday 28th May school is closed for inset day. We will re-open again on Monday 7th June same timings.
The last day of the summer term is Thursday 15th July. Timings will remain the same until the end of the summer term.

Dear parents, like mobile phones, any device which can obtain internet access or allow your child to text and message is not permitted in school. Mobile phones are permitted for the older children who walk home but should be left in reception before entering class in the morning. These are collected at the end of the day. Thank you for your understanding.
