  • After school clubs - only choir is on this week all other clubs have finished

    Sun 16 Dec 2018

We are pleased to say that we will be offering football as an after school club after the Christmas holiday. Start dates for clubs will be published after Christmas.

We have decided to use the pupils' suggestion in how to select who attends clubs. You will get a letter which needs to be filled in and returned to school and there will be a cut off date to return the letter by. All names of pupils who have returned the letters will go into a pot with the name of their chosen club written on the front. The names will be drawn out as part of a raffle style process in assembly to make up the correct amount of pupils who can attend each club.  This, we  feel is the best way forward as the list of names is down to chance and  nothing else.  If your child is not in school when the letter is given out then it is your responsibility to ask for a club letter. They will be given towards the end of the first week back.

  • Reading for Enjoyment Homework

    Mon 26 Nov 2018

From this point onwards your child will start to bring home a poem or a story each fortnight, to read with you as homework. Please read this with your child and discuss what has been read as well as rhyming the words together.

The poems or stories will be related to class themes, weather, seasons or even just funny poems to share together. The aim is to encourage reading and to develop vocabulary. In order to improve reading skills  try and read the same poem or story every night. It will take 2 minutes.

Enjoy reading with your child and sharing quality time together.

    Thank you for your support.

  • LOST PROPERTY

    Sun 18 Nov 2018
We have a significant amount of lost property including a lot of red school jumpers. For the next few weeks these will be available for you to go through on tables near the main reception area. Please come and have a look. There are some very good quality coats and other types of clothing - unclaimed as they do not have names on them. We urge you to put names on your children's clothing so that we can return them to you if they get lost.
Any unclaimed clothing will be donated to charity around 5th December.
